November 9, 1923 Simpson College vs. Iowa State Teachers College at Simpson football program is shaped like a football is over 25 pages long and includes pictures of the different players as well as team photos and gives the lineups. It is Home Coming Day. It also tells us the average weights of the starting teams: For Simpson College it is 173 lb. and for Iowa State it is 161 lb. They sure are a lot larger now! On the back page is an ad for Spalding equipment.
