Yankees win 6-4 with Red Rolfe hitting a home run, Lou Gehrig getting a single, and Joe DiMaggio going 0 for 4 (for the year he hit .381 a career high). Schoolboy Rowe pitched a complete game for the Tigers, but took the loss.
