What we have here is a button that measures about 1.25" in diameter of the Birmingham Black Barons Negro League baseball team. Players on the team included Satchel Paige and Willie Mays. The team was in existence from 1920 to 1960 and was owned at one time, by Abe Saperstein, who also owned the Harlem Globetrotters team. They played at Rickwood Field.
