September 8, 1951 Brooklyn Dodgers baseball program vs. the New York Giants at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn. The program is unscored but someone wrote the date and jotted some notes in the lineup page. In the game, the Dodgers won 9 to 0 and Don Newcombe was the winner and Jackie Robinson went 3 for 5. Duke Snider, Carl Furillo, and Roy Campanella also played in the game for the Dodgers while the Giants had Willie Mays, Monte Irvin, and Bobby Thomson. The Giants would be way behind in the standings and come back to tie the Dodgers and force a playoff to see who would play the New York Yankees in the 1951 World Series. The program is in pretty nice condition but the center page has separated from the rest of the program.
