What we have here is a 1961-62 Hawaii Chiefs of the ABL American Basketball League pocket schedule. This is an extremely rare basketball pocket schedule. The ABL was around from 1961 to 1963. Its founder was Abe Saperstein of Harlem Globetrotters fame and one of the owners was George Steinbrenner of the New York Yankees. The Chiefs only lasted this one year and then moved to Long Beach, California. The Chiefs coach was Red Rocha.
