What we have here is a 1967-68 first year game worn Houston Mavericks ABA American Basketball Association practice jersey. Worn by point guard Willie Somerset, the team lasted only two years. It was made by Southland and is size 40. Somerset has signed it though it has smudged. Comes from the son of Slater Martin's doctor. Martin was the Mavericks head coach and is a member of the NBA Hall of Fame for his play with the Minneapolis Lakers.
