1969 New York Mets Win the World Series Sports Section

Probably THE moment in New York Mets history. This is the sports section from October 17, 1969 from the San Francisco Chronicle. The page one headline is "Miracle Mets on Top of the World." There are pictures on the front page of the fans storming the field as the Met players run away, and Tom Seaver and Gary Gentry examining the mound after the fans abandoned Shea battlefield. This would look great framed. It is in pretty nice shape, though, like all newspapers there is some yellowing.
