What we have here is a game used bat of Roy Weatherly. He played professional baseball from 1934 to 1958. He played for the Cleveland Indians from 1936 to 1942 and the New York Yankees in 1943 and 1946. His last major league team was the New York Giants in 1950. He also played in the Pacific Coast League with the Oakland Oaks in 1950 and 1951, as well as other leagues, too. There are small nails in the bat above the label (see photos). Does not detract from the look.
