What we have here is a 1961-62 Oakland Oaks pocket schedule that measures 8.5" x 3.5" and is in very nice shape though there is a small marking on the back. The ABL is a professional basketball league that lasted just over one year. The commissioner of the league was Abe Saperstein of Harlem Globetrotters fame. On the cover is Ermer Robinson, who was a rarity at the time, a Black coach.
