What we have here is a Type 1 Wire Photo of Hall of Famer Elmer Ripley of the Brooklyn Arcadians of the ABL American Basketball League. It is dated April 26, 1926 and is very rare. This is PRO basketball long before the NBA! The wire photo measures 8" x 10" and has heavy publication usage wear that includes peripheral handling, background mask, editorial outlining and crop marks. NEAT!
