Two different important Brooklyn Dodgers baseball programs from 1951 and 1956. the first one is from September 8, 1951 and has the Dodgers Don Newcombe pitching a 2 hit shutout vs. the Giants 9-0. The Giants now trail the first place Dodgers by 7 games with less than 3 weeks left. The second program is from September 29, 1956 and has the Pirates at the Dodgers. This game makes it the first time since early April that the Dodgers are in 1st place. Sal Maglie is the winning pitcher at 39 years of age. Sandy Amoros hits a home run.
