What we have here is the ticket stub to the September 7, 1941 doubleheader between the New York Giants at the Brooklyn Dodgers. The Dodgers won game 1, 13 to 1, and game 2 4 to 3 in extra innings. Carl Hubbell lost game 1 with Dolph Camilli hitting two homers. Ducky Medwick went 4 for 5 and Mel Ott played. In game 2, Medwick had 2 RBI's and Pete Reiser had two hits. The Dodgers would win the pennant in 1941 ----their first pennant in 21 years!
