Eddie Gaedel, the shortest player ever to play in the major leagues is pictured having his cletes tied by his St. Louis Browns manager. He only batted in one game and walked. He is only 3'7". This was done by marketing genius Bill Veeck. This comes from Cliff Kachline historian at the Hall of Fame.
